Scholarships available for current students in 2012
Earlier this year this year, we partnered with the Cleveland Foundation and established the Virginia Marti College Fund. The fund is held and managed by the Cleveland Foundation, which invests the gifts for a greater return on investment and prudent growth. Gifts to this fund provide the Virginia Marti College Foundation with an important source of revenue now and into the future, as well as a measure of security that allows us to focus on our mission.
There are many different ways you can show your support now and for generations to come. If you are interested in learning more about these options and how you can help the VMC Foundation email Marlene Kobzowicz at marlene@vmcf.org. The Cleveland Foundation’s staff is also available to discuss gift ideas with you. Contact the Gift Planning and Donor Relations team at 216.861.3810 or toll-free 877-554-5054.To donate through the Cleveland Foundation Fund, log onto www.clevelandfoundation.org and click on the option for “Donors” on the left side of the home page. Under “Donors”, click on the sentence, make a credit card donation, then click on “fund”, scroll down to find the Virginia Marti College Fund, click on it, and enter the amount of your donation.
Thank you for your on-going support to the Virginia Marti College Foundation. It is because of your faithfulness that we are able to continue with our mission which is to provide training, community outreach and scholarship opportunities to talented and creative people in the applied arts!

"I chose Virginia Marti College of Art and Design because of its amazing vibe. The achievements shared among the walls (of the school) remind me of the hard work and dedication I give myself….It’s not a big school, but Virginia Marti has a heart of its own which makes it big in reality. I knew after walking through the school that this is where I belong and my excitement to begin my journey goes beyond any words."

“I could never pick one subject that I loved more than another, except for art. Art was not just something I did, but it was something that I had a real passion for. Art is a means for me to create and express myself and I like the way that I can take an empty palate and bring something to life that exists in my mind; something that is unique to me.”
Veronica Heck
“The talent I have for art is something I was born with. I think VMCAD is the place that will help me channel and develop that talent into not just a job but a lifetime career. I also believe from talking with a few of the staff that not only what they will teach help me in my career, but will help me grow as a person.”
THANK YOU HUNTINGTON BANK
FOR YOUR ON-GOING GENEROSITY!
Huntington Bank graciously donated $1500 to the Virginia Marti College Foundation. The scholarship was to be awarded to a current student actively involved in the community. Maryann McKenney, an interior design student, was the recipient of this scholarship. Maryann participated in various community related projects sponsored by the College, and is a firm believer in giving back to the community. A true volunteer, she is happy to share her time and talents with others.

Welcome to the new Virginia Marti College Foundation website. As you see by our mission statement, the Foundation was established to support the efforts of the Virginia Marti College of Art and Design, to provide funding for scholarships and to raise awareness of the school . We will do this by reaching out to our alumni, our friends and members of the corporate community.
Since 1966 Virginia Marti College of Art and Design has trained some of the leading designers in the country, from right here in our community.
We are pleased to extend our reach into the community by launching our new site which will keep you well informed of our programs, our fundraising efforts and ways in which you can support these efforts so that the Virginia Marti College of Art and Design can continue its long tradition of recruiting and training talented individuals seeking a career in the arts.
